Employee Spotlight
We continue to be impressed by the amazing employees we have working with us everyday. One of those amazing employees is Jennifer Holt, and we wanted you all to get to know her better.
What did you do before you came to work at Namify?
“I was a manager at Carl’s Jr.”
Have you ever had other positions at Namify?
“I’ve done just about everything. I started out in graphics (proofing and printing the full color name tags) as well as processing name tags. After that I moved over to be the textile manager which I was in charge of all the apparel and lanyards. I have also done shipping, sales, and marketing for a time.”
What is your favorite Namify Memory?
“Oh that’s hard… there are quite a few! I really like how everyone works together and helps out. We all work as a team to get the jobs done for the customers.”
What is the best thing about working at Namify?
“I like the variety of the jobs. It doesn’t ever get boring because each day there’s something new and exciting to learn and do.”
What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?
“I love hanging out with my family. I also love to run outside, especially the mountains (it’s very therapeutic for me). I really like anything to do with the outdoors. I also love photography. These are some pictures I took when we went to Moab a couple years ago.”
What kind of music do you listen to?
“My favorite is definitely country. I like Jason Aldean and Luke Combs, they are probably my favorites right now.
What is something you’ve learned in the last week (it doesn’t have to be work related)?
“I learn new things all the time! There’s actually a new process for DTG printing so I got to learn that recently.”
What is the best place that you’ve traveled to?
“There’s a couple of cool places I’ve been to. I’ve been to Oahu which was really fun. Another place is Mexico. I actually lived there for about a year helping family. I’ve been to a lot of places on the west coast of Mexico, but not so much the east coast. My dream would be to go to Italy though. A couple years ago when I beat Bryan Welton’s pinning record, I won free airline tickets to anywhere in the world. We were going to visit Italy, but then decided to visit family in Mexico.”
How do you balance career and family?
“That is something I struggle with. I really care about my job, and doing the best that I can. But sometimes it is hard to balance (since I am a perfectionist). It’s something that I definitely haven’t mastered yet, but I try to prioritize the best that I can.”
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
“This is me, take it or leave it!”
What’s one piece of advice you would give others at Namify?
“Pay attention to detail. It’s really easy to get in the rush on things… but especially with what we do we have to pay close attention to the fine details. The customers are counting on us to create great products for them, so we need to take pride in our work.”
Conclusion
It truly is a family here at Namify, and we are so glad you are a part of it, Jen! Thank you for all that you do.
