### Programs vs. Systems

A swag program relies on people remembering processes. A swag system embeds those processes into the workflow.

Programs work until someone leaves, teams grow, or demand increases. Systems scale.

### Why Systems Matter

Systems create:

- Consistency across teams
- Clear ownership without extra oversight
- Easier onboarding for HR admins
- Fewer “how do we do this?” moments

For HR, this means less reactive work and more strategic planning.
